Information hoarding
A second brain has become a popular topic.
Somewhere digital to store all we forget.
But sometimes as I'm storing another takeaway I can't help wondering if this is progress or overwhelm.
We're making things possible that weren't before.
But is the capacity to catalog more information than our minds can hold what we're made for?
Is the fact that the mind has a limit, like a hard drive that fills up, a signal that we don't need to take on more than we can handle?
Is it a sign of simplicity sent down from the stars?
It is easier than ever to tie your mind in a knot instead of walking a straight line.
Sometimes the less we have brings out our best.
I hope that we can process our progress.
And not turn into digital hoarders wasting time saving what we would otherwise forget about.
